Enter our front door and be greeted by our friendly office staff and most likely a dog! If it's your first lesson, please arrive a few minutes early to fill out a Rider Release. Alternatively, you may print a copy from the bottom of this page. Riders should wear jeans and boots or hard soled shoes. Helmets are optional and are always available at no extra cost. After checking in at the front desk, we'll take you to the barn to meet your horse. Bring treats if you like - they love apples and carrots! One of our barn gals or guys will assist you in walking your horse to the arena. There, we'll start by covering the basics: How to mount your horse and sit in the saddle, move forward, turn, stop and back-up. Expect to ride a new horse every week! Any questions? Just ask! Our experienced instructors and office staff will help you along every step of the way. We look forward to meeting you soon!
Group lessons are for ages 7+. Please call our office at 708-479-3696 to check availability and schedule lessons. Once you select a day and time for your lesson, you're on the weekly schedule. If you need to cancel or reschedule, you must contact the office in advance or a $10 saddling fee will be given.
A single 1-hour group lesson: $60
A 5-card for five 1-hour group lessons: $270
A 10-card for ten 1-hour group lessons: $530
A single 30-min Pee-Wee lesson: $40

Give the gift of riding! Gift certificates can be put toward lessons, camps, special events and more! They can be purchased in any denomination with cash or check.
Students must wear jeans. Boots are best but hard soled shoes with a small heel are acceptable for a new rider. Once a rider has decided to commit to consistent lessons, proper riding boots are required. No sandals or flip flops, please. Helmets are always available in our office at no extra cost. In inclement weather, all lessons take place in our large insulated indoor arena. In winter, dressing in layers is best.
